Sky Bar

Had my new outfit on and had a drink on the 65th floor of our hotel with a few friends. Awesome view from up there. Smart casual was the dress code so all of us spent the day looking for appropriate attire. Apparently, our hiking clothes and flip flops weren't considered "smart" for this setting.

Chatuchuk Market Take 2

Oh my goodness. We went to the Chatuchuk market again today. Went there on Saturday, but didn't get enough. Couldn't see everything so we had to go back today. So we spent the morning at the Grand Palace, saw the Emerald Buddha and the Reclining Buddha. Then we took a taxi to the market. There's so much to buy and so cheap! Anyways, we got to Chatuchuk at 1pm today and finished around 6:30pm. I'm beat. My feet hurt so much. I've never shopped so much in my whole life. Shopping success! Except for the puma bag you wanted yee ga che. Sorry. Susan bought the last one.

Yum Yum Breakfast!

Complimentary breakfast buffet with our hotel stay. I was so amazed the first day I forgot to take pictures. Here are some pics from today's breakfast.

Me on my banana phone:

Susan likes savory:

I like more sweet foods for breakfast:

They serve fresh honey here and they toast the bread in a stone oven!

Lebua Luxury

Wow, our hotel is amazing. Susan booked this hotel for us way back when we were in TO. We're staying here for 4 nights and it's the best sleep I've had in Asia so far. The bed is so comfortable!
It's like a condo. We have a sitting area, a kitchenette with a microwave (those are rare here!), a huge washroom with a shower and a bathtub, our own beds, a 42inch tv (that we don't even use), a desk and a fancy balcony.

So the first night in this hotel I jumped into bed and I was like what's this poking my foot and thought could it be a bug? Took a look and nothing there. But somethings still poking me. So I reach down and pull on the thing poking me. Oh, it's a feather! haha....I have a feather cushioned bed, feather pillows and feather blanket. Awesome!
